A mid-century set of 4 Vernon Kiln "Modern California" turquoise grill plates measuring 11" in diameter. In very good condition, they date from the 1950's.

A fine and rare antique tool is this Stanley No. 278 fillester rabbet plane, circa 1915-1943. It is a terrific piece to add to your collection. In excellent antique condition, all intact, it measures 7" x 3.5". More photos are available upon request.

Stanley Wooden Plane No. 35, all intact including blade. The wood looks like maple and has a beautiful warm patina. These make great decorative pieces, as well as very functional for the carpenter. Measures 10" x 5.5" high

Black antique cast iron level with 3 bubble lenses (1 level in middle and 2 plumb at each end). Marked L.S.S. Co., Athol, Mass USA. LSS Co. stood for L. S. Starrett Co. Has a groove along bottom side (which I have showing as the top) for leveling pipe. Measures 12" x 2" x 7/8.

An unusual hand carved apple green nephrite jade pendant of a Chinese lettuce. It had a 14 kt bale and measures about 1.5" long.

A lovely hand carved jade box with 2 crabs on the top. Nice open work. The box is lined with glass to support the jade panels and crabs appear on the sides, bottom is solid. The jade is a off white with a green tint. Bronze frame is engraved. Box measures 4" x 5" and 2.25" high. Early 20th C.

A vintage chunky hinged bone and/or ivory bangle bracelet with silver detailing featuring a large black onyx stone. Secures safely with a pin clasp. From India these bracelets were very popular in the late 1960's and early 70's.

"Life and Death in Rebel Prisons" by Robert H Kellogg, Sgt-Major 16th Regiment Conn. Volunteers, prepared from his daily journal is this "...complete history of the inhuman and barbarous treatment of our brave soldiers by rebel authorities, inflicting terrible suffering and frightful mortality, principally at Andersonville, GA and Florence, SC. Published in 1867 by L. Sterbins, Hartford, Conn...

Rare Confederate Civil War "Rifle and Infantry Tactics" manual used and carried by Captain W. H Powell during the war. There are water marks in the same location thought the book, but all the type is legible and clear. Blank pages have some signatures and doodling. This is considered to be a rare book. Published in 1862 by the order of the Governor for the use of the North Carolina Troops and written by Brig. Gen. W. J. Hardee, C. S. Army. About 70 pages of text with blank pages in the back...

Rare Confederate Civil War wood water canteen. Painted grey, all original, it measures 9" in diameter. Etched into one side, but very faded appears to be a name. The first name begins with an "E" and the 2nd name a "B", might be Boyette. Considered to be in excellent condition for a wooden canteen that went though the Civil War, this would be wonderful addition to any Confederate wartime collection.
