Metlox Pottery Pineapple Salt Pepper Shakers

Pair of 1950s' Metlox pineapple salt and pepper shakers. Highly glazed, they are in excellent condition. Marked Metlox on the the stopper which appears to be rubber and also in like new condition. We thought this was a salt and pepper set, but when I was cleaning the tops, I saw that both side had 2 holes, so I think we have 2 salt shakers here. The tops are slightly different and the owner thought that the darker top with more pattern was for pepper and the other for salt. It works just fine that way, but we think the pepper should have 3 holes. They measure 3" tall.
