Helen Luton Hafer was born in California on July 19, 1914.
Hafer was a painter of California landscapes, California Missions and still life works.
She died in San Clemente, California on May 18th, 2003.

There is a light green band with gold trim around the base and the inside rim of the spittoon.
No chips or cracks.
Light crazing. Yellowing to the pottery along part of the bottom edge of the base. Some tiny rust spots.
Gold trim loss on the lip of the rim.
Based on the markings on the bottom it was made in April 1933.
Not a light weight porcelain, weighs approx 4lbs.
