Hafer was a painter of California landscapes, California Missions and still life works.
She died in San Clemente, California on May 18th, 2003.

Acoma pottery Vase.
It is approx 7 1/2" tall with a 4 1/2" in diameter rim.
It has a polychrome geometric design around the base.
The top portion of the vase is corrugated all around.
This vessel is thick walled and is a little off center.
There is a hairline crack that extends 4" down from the rim which can only be seen upon close inspection.
There is a nick on the inside lip of the rim.
It is marked "Acoma NM" on the bottom.

There are four 8 3/4" plates.
One 6" plate and one approx 3" with a 4" in diameter rim tea or coffee cup.
The plates have a slight orange peel texture to the front.
The bases have some fine kiln grit or fritting.
The rims of the set are very thin so there are a lot of small under the rim chips
on all the plates and some fleabites along the rim of the cup.

Ted DeGrazia (1909-1982) was known the world over for his paintings of the Southwest. Indians, angels, cowboys on horseback, all were among his creations....but far and away the best known and loved were his solemn, dark-eyed children.
The tile is embossed with the Navajo mother scene giving it a 3-D look. It is hand painted with a soft matte finish.
