Vietnam War canteen.
It is 9" tall and approx 6 1/2" wide.
The olive green canvas cover is wool lined and states US on the front and Cover, Canteen, M-1956

-5- on the back.
It has metal clips on the back.
The black plastic canteen states U.S.1976 on the bottom.
Great condition.
