Alfi Vintage Juwel Thermal Carafe

Vintage Juwel Carafe by Alfi.
Designed in 1918 originally for the Pullman cars of the American railroads, this vacuum jug has adorned the coffee tables of entire generations.
It is approx 8" tall and made of metal.
It has a cork stopper and hard glass liner that has a 16 oz capacity.
The hinged cover is stamped D.B Pat.(patent)with the Alfi trademark.
The bottom is marked Terma Import with the Alfi trademark.
The metal on the base is stained otherwise it's in great condition.
