Czechoslovakian Plates by Ditmar Urbach.
They are approx 8 1/4" in diameter and have hand painted orange floral decorations.
Czecholslovakia did not exist until the end of World War I in 1918.
The country was put together with parts of Austria, Bohemia and Hungary as a reward for the help of the Czechs and the Slovaks in winning the war.
In 1993 Czechoslovakia spit and became two countries: the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. Items are highly collectible because the country was in existence only 75 years.
They have light to moderate surface scratches.
One plate has a small chip to the back rim of the foot.
The other plates have no chips.
They are marked Hand-Painted Ditmar Urbach Made in Czechoslovakia.
