I want to tell you a little about myself. I have been exposed to antiques
for fifty + years.
Most of what I know on the subject, I learned from my dear aunt, Mary
Crouse. Hence that's where the name Crouse-meyer too & White Bench Antiques
Came about. She was a very well respected antique dealer in this area.We
attended many buying trips with her, assisted her with many an antique show.
She taught us so much about the beauty of antiques and how to appreciate
them for what they were. Even today, when seeing an eye catching antiquity,
I, myself, can't help but wonder the history behind it.I feel blessed to
have my husband of many years, share the same love and interest that I do.
After my aunt passed, we decided to apply all she had taught us and started
doing antique shows in N.J. & surrounding states.I've done many Estate Sales
in N.J.as well & have references from the families.We became very active in
different antique centers in N.J., including the Morristown Antique Center
in Morristown, N.J. and Old Engine Works in Stroudsburg,Pa.We also shared an
antique shop with a friend in Boonton, NJ. I have done many Identifications
and Estimates for clients over the years in N.J. & N.Y., as well as assist
in my town's antique auctions for benefit of our library. I also volunteered
my time to our church fair, where I priced
collectibles, old books and jewelry etc, which were donated. If you have any
