When was the last time you saw a Smoking Tobacco Cannister advertising Briggs Tobacco "Aged in Wood" on the lid & the Briggs Smoking Tobacco on the front of the cannister with "when a feller needs a friend" on it? Well this was my grandad's & dates back to the 1940's. My, how time has changed but isn't it nice to have the nostalgia !

Although there were many item made during WW2 by soldiers & POW's alike, I consider this to be of of the best.This unusual lamp is made from a Artillery Shell Projectile.The main body is ornately hammered. This soldier much have loved to deep sea fish because there's a beautiful Sailfish carved on it.The base is uniquely carved ,as well.On the underside, the soldier, a soldier has scratched his name & Fort on it.It is completely electrified,as well.

You are looking@ an old drafting set in a case which tells me it's been well used. All the pieces are there & useable condition. The name inside the case is Keuffle & Esser Co NY. Most of the tools are marked Ecco Co. Germany. Everything that came with the set is there. The drafting tools could use a good cleaning.There is green velvet inside.The outer case snaps shut but the case itself is rough from the many years on handling. How unusual are these!There are four cats, all playing a different musical instrunent. They are all hand painted & date back to 1940's. Being Paper Mache, they have gotten a few kicks & bangs but this can easily be rectified with a little patience & paint.When was the last time or ever have use seen a unique thing like this.They have been in my husband's family for years. They came from Germany with them when his family decided to move to the United States.
