This Antique Scale's patent date is 1903, but the Dodge Scale Co. NY, manufactured the first one in 1890 & another one in 1898.The scale is made up of brass, cast iron, & steel.It sits on a marble base, which has a chip out of the one back corner. This in no way takes away from the beauty of the piece. Measurements are 22" long,8" deep & 13" in height.
