This powder jar was designed by Charles H. Oestreich of Brooklyn NY: the design was patented January 13, 1931. There is a pink elephant on the lid and the jar has an overall frosted finish. Excellent condition. See my other listings for more Depression era dresser items.

Anchor Hocking's Sandwich pattern is one of the most recognized Hocking patterns. The Forest Green pieces were made during the mid 1950's. Offered here is the creamer in perfect condition. This fine rib mixing bowl was made by Federal Glass Company in the 1920's. 6 3/4 inches in diameter, the base is square so that the bowl rests flat when in use. This bowl was sold as part of a nesting set of mixing bowls - here's your chance to complete your set.

Fairfax is the name for Fostoria's Line 2375. It was produced from 1927 to 1944 and is the blank that was used for many of Fostoria's most popular etchings. Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the #1123 7 oz sherbet in Honey. The color is a ceramic wash applied over crystal glass. Perfect condition, I have 11 available. Sherbets are very difficult to find in this pattern, so get them while you can...

Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the sherbet in French Crystal.(French Crystal is high polish figures against a satin finish background - named because of the Lalique quality this finish gives the glass.) The Mt Pleasant pattern was made by L.E. Smith glass company in the 1930's. Offered here is the 9 inch grill plate in cobalt blue in excellent condition. It has the silver band decoration around the outside edge. The silver is worn but still there.
