This tall candy jar & cover was produced by Tiffin Glass Company during the late 1920's. It's shape #15179 and stands 7 1/2 inches high to the top of the lid finial. (The base is 5 1/2 inches high) The glass is green with an all over satin finish. Excellent condition.

The Versailles pattern was produced by Fostoria Glass Company from 1928 to 1944. It's an elegant etching that's more lovely than pictures can capture. This glass stropper is a unique item. A stropper was used to sharpen a straight-edged razor. While they're usually made of stone, this one is pink depression glass and dates to the 1920's. The words 'Crystal Stropper' and 'Patent Applied For' are molded into the bottom edge. It's approximately 2 1/2 inches square and in excellent condition. This is the first of these I've been lucky enough to find - grab it while you can!
