These beautiful goblets were designed by Reuben Haley and produced by the Consolidated Glass Company in the late 1920's. The pattern is called 'Five fruits' and is one of Consolidated's scarce tableware lines. These goblets hold 9 oz and are approximately 5 inches tall. The color is green ceramic wash over crystal. The Florentine pattern was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932 to 1935. It was made with scalloped edges or straight edges. Although Hazel Atlas didn't distinguish one from the other, collectors today call the scalloped edge 'Florentine 1' and the straight edge style 'Florentine 2'. Offered here is the 3 3/4 inch ashtray in green in Florentine 2 - straight edge. This is the small size ashtray that's very hard to find.
