This figural glass lamp was produced by L.E. Smith Company during the 1940's - 50's. The color was fired on over clear glass, giving the opaque finish. This style is referred to as the 'Southern Belle' lamp. I have 2 available. Both have been re-wired so they work fine. The shade clips on the light bulb. (Bulb not included, I recommend 25 or 40 watt bulbs so the glass doesn't get too hot.) Please specify which you'd like. All are in good shape...

Central Glass Company's Etch #410 has been called 'Balda' by collectors after Joseph Balda, the designer behind the pattern. It was produced in the late 1920's - early 1930's. Offered here is the 13 inch rolled edge console bowl in pink. While stemware is usually seen, serving and tableware pieces are hard to find. Very good condition with no chips or other damage; there is a little light scratching on the top curve from someone flipping the bowl over and using it upside-down...

During the late 1930's, the trend in dinnerware was moving away from the pinks and greens of Depression glass and toward the colors of Fiesta, Harlequin and Luray pastels. The Florentine pattern was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932 to 1935. It was made with scalloped edges or straight edges. Although Hazel Atlas didn't distinguish one from the other, collectors today call the scalloped edge 'Florentine 1' and the straight edge style 'Florentine 2'.
