This is a really neat item! Pictured is a white glass double towel rod with the original bracket. The glass is about 14 inches long, and the 2 rods swivel to hold your towels and then lay flat against the wall when not in use. Excellent condition. These were usually destroyed when kitchens and bathrooms were remodeled and so they are very hard to find today - especially with the original hardware...

Glass knives were advertised as not discoloring when cutting acidic foods like tomatoes (Remember, knives were all carbon steel at the time and turned dark from the acids in different foods.)
