The color is a green ceramic wash applied over crystal and then fired on to fuse it permanently to the surface of the glass. crystal. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 6 1/2 inch hat shaped vase in emerald green. Fairfax is the name for Fostoria's Line 2375. It was produced from 1927 to 1944 and is the blank that was used for many of Fostoria's most popular etchings. Central Glass Company's Etch #410 has been called 'Balda' by collectors after Joseph Balda, the designer behind the pattern. It was produced in the late 1920's - early 1930's. Offered here is the 13 inch rolled edge console bowl in pink. While stemware is usually seen, serving and tableware pieces are hard to find. Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. This lampshade was produced by MacBeth Evans Company during the 1930's. It is pictured in the newest depression glass encyclopedia by Mauzy under American Sweetheart, though it is not strictly the American Sweetheart pattern. 7 inches in diameter, the shade has ribs and a scalloped edge like American Sweetheart. This beaded purse is done in black beads that are strung in loops. The base material is a black cotton, the lining is black silk. The drawstring is missing, though one can easily be added. Measuring 8 inches long and 5 1/2 inches wide, the beads hang an additional 1 1/2 inches beyond the bottom of the bag.
