Fenton's Cranberry Opalescent glass is one of their most popular treatments. Because it is cased glass (french crystal over gold ruby) every piece must be blown rather than pressed. Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the sherbet in French Crystal.(French Crystal is high polish figures against a satin finish background - named because of the Lalique quality this finish gives the glass.) This Royal Doulton Toby jug is called 'The Poacher' and was designed by Max Henk. Shape number D6429, it is the large size, measuring 7 inches high. Queen Ann was produced by Heisey Glass Company from 1938 until they closed in 1957. Offered here is the covered lemon dish in crystal. 6 1/2 inches long, the handle on the lid is Heisey's wonderful Dolphin shape.
