The Florentine pattern was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932 to 1935. It was made with scalloped edges or straight edges. Although Hazel Atlas didn't distinguish one from the other, collectors today call the scalloped edge 'Florentine 1' and the straight edge style 'Florentine 2'. This cocktail mixer was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company during the 1940's - 50's, though the decoration was probably done by Gay Fads Company. It's part of the Melody series set, with music on one side and a picture on the other. The cocktail mixer has an interesting twist: the songs are pictured, but instead of music, there is a drink recipe written on the staff paper.
