This Royal Doulton Toby jug is called 'Smuggler' and was designed by David B. Biggs. Shape number D6616, it is the large size, measuring 7 1/4 inches high. The smuggler has a green hat and red scarf, the handle is a lantern resting on a barrel. The mark on the bottom of this jug dates it from 1967 to 1973.
