These Akro Agate items are from the Small Interior Panel set (18 panels). The colors are transparent topaz (made only in 1935-6) and transparent green ( called 'jade trans optic'). This lampshade was produced by MacBeth Evans Company during the 1930's. It is pictured in the newest depression glass encyclopedia by Mauzy under American Sweetheart, though it is not strictly the American Sweetheart pattern. 7 inches in diameter, the shade has ribs and a scalloped edge like American Sweetheart. The pattern, however, is alternating lyres and flowers on each panel. There are also stars around the top opening of the shade...

Central Glass Company's Etch #410 has been called 'Balda' by collectors after Joseph Balda, the designer behind the pattern. It was produced in the late 1920's - early 1930's. Offered here is the 13 inch rolled edge console bowl in pink. While stemware is usually seen, serving and tableware pieces are hard to find. Very good condition with no chips or other damage; there is a little light scratching on the top curve from someone flipping the bowl over and using it upside-down...
