Romanesque is the name for this lovely L.E. Smith Glass pattern. It was produced during the early 1930's and new items are still being discovered today. Pictured here is the 10 1/2 inch bowl in green. the base of this bowl is hexagonal and will fit into the 4 1/2 inch base that sometime accompanies this pattern. Excellent condition.

Cups have only turned up in the past year or two. This one is in very good condition, with a little flake on the bottom edge of the base. It could be polished or left alone - it's too small to photograph. When only a handful of these have shown up, having one in any condition is a prize!

This Royal Doulton Toby jug is called 'Auld Mac'. Shape number D5823, it is the large size, measuring 6 1/4 inches high. This jug is Variation C: Auld Mac is incised on the tam and printed in the backstamp. This combination dates the jug to after 1940 and the backstamp is prior to 1947, so you have that range for production years. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This jug is color Variation 1: Charley wears a brown hat, dark green coat and blue polka dot bow tie. The mark on the bottom is Backstamp A and dates this jug from 1934 to the mid 1950's.
