Fenton Cranberry Opalescent Hobnail Basket

Fenton's Cranberry Opalescent glass is one of their most popular treatments. Because it is cased glass (french crystal over gold ruby) every piece must be blown rather than pressed. This hand-work makes each piece unique. Offered here is the 3834 41/2 inch wide basket in their hobnail pattern. This piece was produced from 1940 to 1956.
