Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the cup & saucer set in the rainbow treatment. The color is ruby flash applied over crystal glass. What makes this plate interesting is that the color is applied only to the outer edge of the plate, leaving the center crystal. This treatment was called 'rainbow' and is difficult to find. Perfect condition, I have 3 sets available, price is per cup & saucer set.
