Fostoria Lafayette Cup & Saucer Set - Wisteria

The Lafayette pattern is one of Fostoria Glass Company's earlier dinnerware shapes, and was used as the blank for many of their etchings. Offered here is the cup & saucer set in the rare Wisteria color. This color was made in the early 1930's and is dichroic as it reacts to the light - changes from amethyst in daylight to a blue, almost tanzanite color, in florescent light.
