Consolidated Line 700 Console Bowl - French Crystal

Line 700 was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1929. Offered here is the large Console bowl in French Crystal. This finish is high polish details against a satin background. This shape is referred to as a 'banana bowl'. It's a very large piece, almost 12 inches long and 8 inches high. Sometime in the past 80 years, a prior owner engraved his name into the underside of the base. (See picture 2) It's not visible unless you turn the bowl over. Excellent condition.
