This vintage bobbing duck nodder salt and pepper shaker is a highly desirable collectible. Bottom of ducks has red printing that says "MADE IN JAPAN". This shaker set circa 1940's or 1950's. The ceramic base is hand-painted with pink roses,flowers and green leaves and stems. The top openings are trimmed in gold with gold painted script SALT and PEPPER on the front. Displayed on the back of the base is a gold-hued sticker that says "EMPIRE STATE BUILDING,NEW YORK CITY" ...click for details

This vintage redware ceramic praying hands salt and pepper shaker set is an expression of serenity. The reddish brown glaze is embellished with a small amount of gold over the molded creases on the cuffs. Both pieces have plastic stoppers.
