A rare pair of Newburyport Silver Company footed salt and pepper shakers. These very vintage shakers stand 2 3/4" high and are 1" diameter at the base. Bases are weighted. Both shakers have 12 holes in the screw off caps but one has larger holes. The bottom of each shaker is marked "NSCo 444". The Newburyport Silver Company was located in Keene, New Hampshire and was only in business between 1905-1914. This pair of vintage, souvenir, footed coffee urns are from a by-gone era when passenger trains were a popular mode of travel. Each piece stands 2 1/4" high and approximately 1" at the widest diameter. The screw-on caps have six holes each with one having bigger holes.The plaque on the front of each says "UNION TERMINAL TOWER-CLEVELAND OHIO".
