Vintage Silver Souvenir Coffee Urns Salt & Pepper

This pair of vintage, souvenir, footed coffee urns are from a by-gone era when passenger trains were a popular mode of travel. Each piece stands 2 1/4" high and approximately 1" at the widest diameter. The screw-on caps have six holes each with one having bigger holes.The plaque on the front of each says "UNION TERMINAL TOWER-CLEVELAND OHIO". The bottom of each piece displays a symbol of a "Phoenix" and "PAT.P". My research leads me to believe that this handsome pair was made by the Phoenix Manufacturing Company of Melbourne, Australia circa 1940's or 1950's. Phoenix Manufacturing Company was known worldwide for electroplated silver articles. They produced numerous souvenir pieces for export worldwide. Tarnishing is consistent to a piece this age.
