This interesting gold filled watch case has become a compact! It's 2 1/8" in diameter with deer engraving on one side and shield for a monogram on the other. The watch movement has been removed and the catch on that side is sprung so that it does not close completely. The other side has a compact with a hand painted picture of a lady with a sheep on a ribbon and a gentleman offering her flowers. The interior holds powder and rouge. The catch is excellent on this side.

THIS LOVELY TIMEPIECE STANDS 12" HIGH AND IS 8" ACROSS THE BASE. THE
MOVEMENT IS BATTERY OPERATED BY MERCEDES, ON A GOLD COLORED FACE WITH
ROMAN NUMERALS. ALTOUGH THIS PIECE IS OF RECENT MAKE, THE MOULDS USED
ARE MOULDS SITZENDORF HAS USED SINCE THE 1850'S. THE DELICATE PASTELS
OF THE FLOWERS MAKE THIS A CHARMING PIECE.
