Lovely small box with hinged lid with floral inlay, velvet lining, "Made in Italy" foil label on base. Green stained wood which has the appearance of birdseye maple veneer (although that may be a staining technique); very attractive in any case. About 4-1/4" x 3-1/4" x 1-5/8" tall. Very good condition with some undervarnish cracquelure on inside of lid. 20th Century. $6 US First Class Shipping with Confirmation number.

Good sized, at 12" x 8" x 7-1/2" tall. Great hand crafted box; inlaid wood in double stripes on the lid, and all around the perimeter. Neat handcut and shaped handles and feet; handles are made from alternating light and dark, multi-layered wood pieces, and their final, top layer is inlaid with the lighter wood.
