A delightful pair of cobalt glazed Ducks with much gilt decoration. Duck on left measures about 5" x 2-1/4" x 2-3/8" tall. Duck on right measures about 2-1/2" x 2" x 5-1/4" tall. Both are in great condition with only some wear to the gilt and a couple extremely minor scratches from normal wear. We find only a few marks in pencil on the base, and no maker's mark. We suggest they could be German in origin, but ask buyer to make that judgment. We also suggest ...click for details

Wonderful, handmade, hand glazed Planter. Vintage, I'm sure. The coloring is almost changeable, in some light appearing blue, and other light, appearing green; at one point I thought I was even seeing lavender in it. Completely unmarked that we can see; made from thick slab clay, and can see the original tool-shaved sides on the inside. Although it appears to be cracked all over, this effect is original to the piece, and completely intentional. We find this a beautifully made planter, i ...click for details

Created by "Stoneware Design," "USA," in relief on the base. We are unable to find any information on this company, but find that the workmanship and handpainting is just lovely. The same design appears on both the front and the back. Nicely shaped, with a permantly attached saucer. Large and heavy, at about 6-1/2" tall, 7-1/2" at rim diameter, 5-1/2" at base diameter. We do not clean up pots, as we like to offer them exactly as we found them, so you'l ...click for details

Charming Cachepot, handpainted, but without any marks. It could be French, Dutch, or elsewhere. Appears to be hand thrown, and the clay looks like terra cotta under the glaze. The glaze has the appearance of old tin glaze, but we don't suggest it is old; it's almost certainly a relatively new item, 20th Century at oldest. Measures about 4-3/4" tall, 5-1/2" rim diameter, and 3-1/2" base diameter. No hole in base. Excellent undamaged condition; age and origin unknown. ...click for details

Cutest Flower Pot or Cachepot. No hole in bottom, so both the pot and the under dish can be used for other purposes if you desire. Spongeware decoration, with handpainted ivy around the pot. The pot is signed "Amy", but we don't know if she was the potter or the artist, or both. Appears to have been created in 1994, "Three Rivers Pottery, 1994, Coshocton, O., Amy, 05." Measures about 3-3/4& ...click for details
