In the manner of 19th century Bayreuth porcelain, this precious cup and saucer is signed on the cup with initials (pictured), and no other marks. The saucer faithfully duplicates a strawberry leaf, and the tiny gold-lined cup represents a strawberry, about half-ripe, with the tiny seed specks and flower-end. Absolutely charming. Saucer is about 3-1/8" diameter, and strawberry cup is 1-1/4" tall, 1-5/8" largest diameter, plus the 1/2" gilt handle extension. Excellent condi ...click for details

Masterfully handpainted blossoms against white ground, artfully gilded through pattern and rim, square plate with underglaze whiteware green mark of Charles Field Haviland/Gerard, Dufraisseix & Morel, date of 1882-1890, and blue overglaze mark of Charles Field Haviland, Limoges, 1859-1881.
