Handpainted German porcelain plate by Jenrons (?) Studios. "Hiwatha's Wedding Journey," mounted in wooden frame, plate is 8" diameter, wood frame is 11-1/2" diameter. We're not certain if this is partially transfer print, but so as not to mislead, we will say that part probably is transferred. Some minor scattered loss of paint, probably due to improper storage. 10-3/4" diameter Wedgwood Porcelain Charger, Plate, with wide rim of turquoise, gold bell garlands strategically placed, and gold roping around the perimeter, plus gold banding on the rim and on the edge of the well. Carton Ware's "Rouge Royale" is one of the most popularly collected colors in their early "Lustreware" series. Rouge was added in 1940; this particular piece is the "Nautilus" pattern, with its graceful, wavelike ends and whirling sides; hand-decorated gilding. Three beautifully handpainted vases from Lungby Porcelain, Denmark. Each has a different style of painting, and each a different size. All three have a slash across the signature, which usually indicates a "second." However, we find no damage whatsoever on any of them, and assume that there must have been some variance in the patterns from the prescribed patterns. Two 19th Century, 5-3/8" diameter plates signed "Berlin WAA" on reverse, meaning "Berlin" as the pattern name, and "W.A.A." for William A. Adderly & Company, England. William Alsager Adderley (& Co.), operated the Daisy Bank Pottery in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, producing china and earthenware from 1876-1905. The mark on these plates date to 1876-1886.
