Precious and perfect, pale blue Demitasse Cup, by Minton, Bone China, made in England, with underglaze blue mark. Note the delicate swirls making up both pieces, the gilt borders, and the lovely raised enamel leafy vine pattern. Saucer measures 4-1/2" diameter, 5/8" tall; cup is 2-1/8" diameter, 2-1/8" tall. Blue underglaze mark with Beehive trademark of "Dunn Bennett & Co., Burslem, England," gilder's mark, "N" in gilt, 8-1/8" Luncheon Plate in the "Florence" pattern. Mark indicates age to be as old as 1886, and possibly as late as 1936. We believe this plate has a likely date of around 1910. 10-3/4" diameter Wedgwood Porcelain Charger, Plate, with wide rim of turquoise, gold bell garlands strategically placed, and gold roping around the perimeter, plus gold banding on the rim and on the edge of the well. Carton Ware's "Rouge Royale" is one of the most popularly collected colors in their early "Lustreware" series. Rouge was added in 1940; this particular piece is the "Nautilus" pattern, with its graceful, wavelike ends and whirling sides; hand-decorated gilding.
