Beautiful collector Playing Cards with Scenes of Venice after Venetian impressionist watercolors. Just beautiful. Pastel colors with gilded outlines, and gilding around the card edges. Each deck has 54 cards. No lid to the red plastic case. They have both been used a little, but not a lot; all in very good condition. Rare and fabulous 1960s, Murano, Italy, Art Glass Playing Cards, by Duratone, plastic coated. The glass pieces on the cards are by Carlo Moretti, and most are book documented by authorities on his glass. The tall, slender neck, vases are the most well known of these creations. The playing cards are all of normal size, all in great condition with slight use wear, and all cards are present in the two decks. We cannot be certain, but believe this is the original box.
