Charming plate measures 1-3/4" diameter. Appears to be at least partially handpainted, perhaps all handpainted, but we are unable to tell for certain. Portions are raised enamel -- dots in the hair, the pendant, the sheer white on her dress. There is no signature, beyond the green mark on verso, "Made In Limoges France." Attached metal to the back may have been an easel, or perhaps a pin for wearing. In either case, part of that appendate is missing. It could likely be remov ...click for details

Quite old, opaque white glazed (possibly tin glaze) ceramic vase, handpainted with tiny chintz-like flowers and much gilt. With 6" diameter trumpet rim, it stands 6.25" tall, and a base of just over 3.50" diameter. Except for three tiny impressed dots on the inside base, it is unmarked. Our research finds this mark to have been used by Charles Tandart, a painter and gilder for Sevres from 1756-1760. We do not however, guarantee nor claim that this is a Sevres piece, or that th ...click for details

In the manner of 19th century Bayreuth porcelain, this precious cup and saucer is signed on the cup with initials (pictured), and no other marks. The saucer faithfully duplicates a strawberry leaf, and the tiny gold-lined cup represents a strawberry, about half-ripe, with the tiny seed specks and flower-end. Absolutely charming. Saucer is about 3-1/8" diameter, and strawberry cup is 1-1/4" tall, 1-5/8" largest diameter, plus the 1/2" gilt handle extension. Excellent condi ...click for details
