Japanese Eggshell Porcelain Demitasse Cup (no saucer), exquisitely painted in Kutani, and signed on the base in gold with black background. The wisteria and birds are so delicately painted, along with the tiny trim around the rim (rim is black with gold). This pattern is often associated with some of Japan's most famous artists of early-to-mid 20th Century. It is a very special little cup, measuring 2" tall, 2" diameter rim. Lovely and scarce brown transferware cream pitcher, jug, in an unusual scene; part landscape with ships on a river, plus a farm scene with windmill on the other side. Measures 4-3/4" handle to spout, 3-1/2" tall. Unmarked; exact age and origin unknown, but we believe this is antique. Two piece Set, Royal Worcester, Fine Bone China, dish and holder, possibly originally a smoke set, but it could be used creatively on the brunch table or buffet. Bowl is about 4" diameter, 3/4" tall; Holder is 3" x 1-5/8" x 2-1/2" tall. Holder has different florals on each side; both have rim gilding, both are signed. Rare demitasse Cup and Saucer by Royal Worcester; mark of 1881 on the cup, and 1882 on the saucer. Pattern number is B332. The blue and white pattern is of Asian mon designs; a truly beautiful set. Notice the shape of the cup's handle. The saucer is in excellent condition with some wear to the gilding; the cup has two hairlines, both of which go all the way through. Late 19th to early 20th Century Japanese Porcelain Satsuma Bowl; foliate rim, two principal cartouches depicting the same two characters (a young male and young female) in slightly differing scenes; and one cartouche with a gold mon, portions of more mons in the center; the fourth major area is where the ring handle is located.
