Measuring just 2-1/2" to top of the handle, this charming little Ewer, Pitcher is handmade and hand glazed, with an Italian mark on the base. Base diameter is about 1", with largest diameter about 1-1/2". A few areas missing the glaze, including an area on the rim (all original to manufacture, which only adds to the handmade quality of this piece. Exact age unknown, likely 20th Century. $4 US Shipping.

Miniature Ewer, Made in Italy, marked on the base with "2556 Italy." Handpainted, with what appears to be an overglaze restoration on each side, at the red "floral" design. One side repairs and attempts to hide an area of missing glaze, and the other side appears to be trying to balance the design. It is priced accordingly, but we'd like to say that these repairs do not detract from the beauty of this little ewer; it would be a nice addition to a miniatures collection. ...click for details

Nice handpainted pottery bowl from Italy, marked on reverse, "Italy 69Q2." Three folds along the rim point to grapes, grape vine, and a charming yellow bird with blue feathers. Very, very heavy, Mid-Century, unusual, Raymor, Italy, Bowl/Ashtray, with bold enameled, abstract fruit. The surface of the bowl/ashtray has the appearance of igneous material, but is a frothy, bubbly, very thick glaze. The piece measures 10-3/4" square, 2-1/4" tall. While the condition is excellent with no damage at all, the two cigarette indentions are stained. We have had great success in removing stains from porcelain and pottery and will be happy to pass this on to the buyer. ...click for details
