Murano Inciso Engraved Art Glass Vase 1960s Italy

Amethyst mouthblown Art Glass Vase in a newer version of Paolo Venini's "Inciso" technique. Early pieces were more imprecise and completely by hand, plus the bases were usually polished. The master blower on this piece has elected to also incise the foot and the base, beginning at the center of the clipped pontil -- a striking effect; plus the incised engraving is more precise and pronounced. There is a bit of minor damage at the rim, in one spot; two minute little chips on the top edge of the rim, and below that, very near the edge, on the outside, is a small flake; all pictured, and correctible if desired. We find no signature, but have left the remnants of a small label near the rim; possibly an original price label or what's left of an import label. We cannot guarantee this is a Venini vase, nor that it is from Italy, but we strongly make those suggestions. Please make your own determination, and allow us to consider your best offer. 6" tall, 2-1/8" diameter at the rim, 3" diameter foot, 5" largest diameter.
