Mid-20th C. Carlton Ware Rouge Royale Lustre Bowl

Carton Ware's "Rouge Royale" is one of the most popularly collected colors in their early "Lustreware" series. Rouge was added in 1940; this particular piece is the "Nautilus" pattern, with its graceful, wavelike ends and whirling sides; hand-decorated gilding. There is one tiny flake to the underside rim (pictured) which is insignificant, although we offer it at a reduced price because of that one tiny issue. 12" long, 5.25" wide, 2.5" tall.
