Mid-20th Century Murano Art Glass Sommerso Paperweight

Attractive, freeform Murano art glass Paperweight, of thick, heavy clear glass, suspending a column of vivid, cobalt blue in the center. A profusion of minute, bubbles are suspended throughout the piece, creating an interesting effect. Approximate size is 3.5" high, with each side approximately 3" in width. We suggest this may be a Cenedese piece. There is one minute flake to the edge of the base, pictured. c. 1940-1960. $11 US Shipping.
