Seguso Red & Opalescent Faceted Murano Art Glass Plate

Striking, vivid Candy Apple Red Plate or shallow bowl, with a layer of opalescent ("opal glass") lattimo, which we believe is by Seguso. Two partial labels remain on the underside -- red foil known to have been used by Seguso, and an off-white with gold and black label which may have been an import label. Note that the bowl has 3 interesting "facets" on the sides, which appear to be original to the piece. 8" diameter, 1" tall, very thick and heavy glass. The center shows some surface scratching from use, but no deep scratches; original-to--manufacture angular concave area on polished base; otherwise excellent condition.
