Small Murano, Italy, Salviati & Company Art Glass Fruit Sculptures, Lavender mottled glass held Sommerso inside of pale blue glass, lavender leaves and stems, flat polished bases. Apple measures about 2-1/2" diameter and about 2-3/4" tall. Pear measures about 4" tall, and about 2" diameter. The pear displays the original silver foil "Salviati & Co., Made in Italy," label. c. 1950-1970. Excellent condition, with a tiny white inclusion on the pear, 1/2" below the leaf point, quite common in art glass. $11 US Shipping.
