Antique French Porcelain Elite Limoges Bawo & Dotter HP

Completely handpainted -- NOT a transfer print -- in mint and emerald green, completely outlined, rimmed and flat-beaded in gold. Absolutely exquisite 8-1/2" porcelain plate with antique, early 20th Century mark of Bawo & Dotter, Elite Works, Limoges, France red overglaze mark; and "Elite France" green underglaze mark. Comparable Elite-B&D handpainted plates book price at $55 to $65, although this plate has even more gold and more decoration than the comps we were able to find. What a wonderful find! Two small, minor manufacturing flaws, pictured; minor gilding losses, but very little. Excellent condition on this lovely plate, with the minor issues described; no cracks, no chips, no hairlines, no crazing. c. 1900-1914. $12 US Shipping.
