Photos do not do justice to these wonderful antique, Art Nouveau Candle Sticks which were originally created as lamp bases (drilled all the way through, and have a cut for the cord on the sides), both handpainted or stained in black, with accents of copper and silver, beautifully carved shapes of the era, including diamond cut carvings at the top rim resembling acorns; the base undulates in defined Art Nouveau styling. Light weight. 10" tall, 5" base diameter. A few tiny scattered nips in the wood, considered normal wear and tear; otherwise excellent condition. c. 1890-1914.
