Antique Opaque Art Glass Plate Handpainted Fruit

A rare find in this opaque white glass, folded-sides plate which has been handpainted; rough pontil on base. No marks; origin unknown. Gilding loss to the outer edge; very slight scuffs to the lustre glaze. 9.25" x 7" (23.49 x 17.78 cm). Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, or repairs. c. early-mid 19th Century.
