Handpainted Asian Lacquer Plate Signed Gilded

Beautifully and intricately handpainted Asian Plate, with added gold highlighting the river, and metallic copper highlighting the night sky; a fisherman in the foreground, boats and huts in the background. Signed in gold script lower left, and in Asian characters upper right about 2 o'clock. 5-1/2" diameter. There is a little chipping along the lower right on the very edge of the rim that runs for about 2". Otherwise, the plate is in excellent condition. Age & origin unknown. $4 US First Class Shipping.
