Easter Rooster Nodder made in Germany probably dates to the 1930's. Body in a composition over paper on a paper base marked Germany. It is possible that the bottom came off and that this could be a candy container. Wonderful condition, 7-1/4" tall.

Fabulous Thanksgiving Turkey Candy Container. He stands on a circular disc marked Germany on the bottom. The head removes to reveal the opening for candy. Made from a composition on wire feet this predates WWII. 4" tall in excellent condition with minor paint wear.

Just in time for Easter - this is a Nodder Bunny Rabbit Candy Container - he is dapper in his four button jacket with tie, wearing spectacles and smoking a pipe. The container opens at the waist to show compartment to hide the candy. Made in Western Germany so probably from the late 1960's. His head is on a spring so he is also a nodder. 8-1/2" tall in great condition.
