Japanese Tea Service

Exquisite Japanese tea service. Large teapot, with creamer and sugar server, 6 plates 7 1/2" diam., 4 cups and saucers. Each piece is marked Hand Paint Made in Japan, with inter-locking diamond shapes and the letter T inside. The teapot has a slight chip at the end of the spout, the plates have some faded spots along the borders. The set is the prettiest one by far. The detail in color and the liberal use of gold in the ornate design give the set exceptional richness.
