United Clock Company horse and carriage clock. Made in Brooklyn New York in the 1930's. Nearest I can tell 1931 when they first started putting electric motors on clocks. Clock is in excellent condition and still works when plugged in. It measures 21" long and 9" tall and 4" wide. A beautiful old piece for your mantle or bookcase. A real find.

Mirror sided mantle or table clock. Manufactured by The Wm. L. Gilbert clock Company, Winsted Conn. The tag on back can still be read manufactured in 1888. They are a little faded but all of the tags are still readable. One tag is a repair tag that is signed by someone, I can't make out the signature, it was repaired in 1948. A little wear is indicated on the paper dial where someone has been setting it for years. The clock works perfectly, but the gong bell needs tightening up. Has wind-up ...click for details
